GROUP GETS TO WORK

Goldfields Reservoir Action Group held a working bee on Saturday in an effort to improve the local reservoir. Volunteers targeted the weeds Spiny Bullrush and the seed bearing fronds of Pampas Grass.

Their efforts are part of a broader project to improve the reservoir and its surrounds for the community. While the date of their next working bee is still to come, they said their plan is to address some water-flow concerns.
