Bridgewater comes alive with Celtic flair on March 4 with the Celtic Festival, followed by the iconic family friendly Wedderburn Detector Jamboree over the Labour Day weekend (March 11-12). Rheola celebrates its 150th Charity Carnival on April 10, which is a community celebration not to be missed. Autumn is then topped off with the Annual Swap Meet & Market on 20 May in Wedderburn.
Picnics and local treasures
With so many experiences to enjoy, complement your visit with a picnic at one of the many picturesque locations throughout the region. A visit to the award-winning Bridgewater Bakehouse and Bridgewater Farmhouse Kitchen offers a great range of local products to build your picnic.
Only a short drive from Bridgewater is the endearing Inglewood. For a unique retail experience, Inglewood’s wonderful vintage and collectable stores await. Inglewood Emporium, Fusspots and Sharps Bazaar are a goldmine within the vintage collectables’ scene.
In touch with nature
The Loddon Valley is known as Victoria’s backyard for good reason, and visitors are encouraged to switch off and reconnect with nature.
