Local police members headed down to the Maryborough Education Centre on Friday to mark Wear It Purple Day, speaking with students and staff spreading awareness for LGBTIQ+ youth — and enjoyed a barbecue put on by VCAL students.
Wear It Purple is a national day which aims to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people.
